Business Traveller Magazine reviews the LAT_56 RE_01 Red Eye Carry-On Garment Bag and says “the bag was amazing.”
Launched in 1976 and with 13 editions worldwide, Business Traveller is the go-to magazine for business travellers around the world. It’s no surprise that its Global Editor-in-Chief, Tom Otley, is among the most veteran of frequent flyers and doesn’t mince his words when it comes to product reviews.
In fact, he says it up front—He was sceptical about reviewing the LAT_56 RE_01 Red Eye Garment Bag. “After 20 years of travelling, I’m pretty sure what I like,” he says: a rolling case and possibly a Messenger bag to sit snugly on top. “So when a new bag comes along, one without wheels, but which is designed to be a carry on, I’m not initially enthusiastic,” Otley explains. But he was intrigued by LAT_56 and agreed to review it anyway.
The verdict? “The bag was amazing.”
Otley specifically refers to the PS_01.1 Suit Packing System, which allows travellers to roll their suit crease-free. He says it performed “better even than the various garment bags I have which mostly fold the garments in three” and was “infinitely superior” to the suit carrier he was using at the time.
Apart from the “revolutionary new crease free packing system,” Otley also notes the bag’s “striking look,” lightweight build, and strong make.
